Along Came Betty is a jazz quintet from Monterey, CA that was formed in 1998. It's current members include Biff Smith (piano), Patrick Tregenza (drums), Brian Stock (trumpet and flugelhorn), Paul Tarantino (saxophone), and Pete Lips (bass). Stu Reynolds (saxophone) was a member of the band until recently and appeared on our first two albums, Along Came Betty and Apple Brown Betty. Storm Nilson (guitar) will be making a guest appearance on our upcoming album, Brad Mehldau's Monogrammed Guest Towels.

Along Came Betty is one of the most exciting jazz groups since the 50s. Loved both your available albums so much that I purchased extra copies for an old buddy in Detroit.
I hope ACB is considering a re-issue of that first album and a website update with a schedule of appearances for 2008. Can't wait to catch your next gig.
